Surfers Haven

Dominical

First, if you're a surfer, Costa Rica is the place to be. Secondly, if you're not a surfer, Costa Rica is the place to be.

I took a local bus to Playa dominical - a tiny, tiny surf town on the southern end of the Central Pacific.

A place where everyone knows each other - literally! You can't help but not see a 20 year old, long haired, tanned male or female cradling their surfboard, shoeless, walking towards the beach where the waves. I saw with my own eyes topped 10 feet. numerous times a day. I'm like, whoa! It;s cool to watch, but I'll pass. I was offered surf class, like in every city I went to. Tamarindo, also is surf heavy mecca, but as I previously stated - I'm not too fond of that place. just sayin' #Touristy #Expensive

However, the sushi spot in Dominical was 'on point'! I love eating Sushi - I would say it's surely one of my favorite things to eat.

I was also dwelling on taking a shortened Spanish class there in Dominical but didn't. Opportunity passed.
